I am a French student working for the USDA-ARS in Ames, Iowa. I would like
to verify the presence of a transgene into pollen grain. My goal is simply
to make PCR analysis of the pollen I have collected. However, I can not
purify good quality of DNA for PCR. In fact, I have tried different standard
protocols for extraction of genomic DNA from polant tissue, But I have not
succeded in obtaining good DNA. I would like to know if any of you have
experienced a protocol suitable for pollen?
I would appreciate if you could give some tips...
