Research Associate in Soybean Genome Mapping and Molecular Breeding
A research associate position is available at the University of
Missouri-Columbia. Applications will be taken until a suitable
candidate is identified. The primary responsibility of this person is to
develop molecular marker resources and high throughput genotyping
technologies for molecular breeding and soybean genome mapping.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain effective work
relationships with others in a large research team are essential.
Individuals with a Ph.D. or M.S. degree in Genetics, Molecular Biology
or Biological Sciences are suitable for this position. Experience in
genome mapping and high throughput genotyping technologies, especially
SNP, is preferred. Salary will be commensurate with experience and
