[Maize] Postdoc position in maize genetics at the University of Tuebingen (Germany)

A postdoc position in maize genetics is available at the University of 
Tuebingen (Germany)

This project is a co-operation between the University of Tuebingen and 
DuPont and deals with the molecular analysis of root formation in maize. 
Objective of the project is the characterization of defined maize root 
mutants via cell-type specific microarray and proteome analyses. A Ph.D. in 
Genetics or Molecular Biology is required for this position.  Other 
requirements include an excellent background in maize genetics and 
substantial training in at least one of the following techniques: LCM, 
microarray analyses, proteomics, qRT-PCR.
The position is funded for two years according to the German civil service 
pay scale (BatIIa). Applicants should provide a complete resume including a 
publication list, a summary of previous research experience and applied 
techniques, and arrange for at least two references.

Working language in our institute is English. However, a basic knowledge of 
German would be helpful.
