Senior stats position at Arizona

The University of Arizona seeks to hire, with tenure, a statistician at
the associate or full professor level to play a leadership role in building
an interdisciplinary research and training program in statistics.
Candidates should have a strong research record in both theoretical and applied
statistics with some emphasis on biological and biomedical  applications,
and have the necessary personal skills and intellectual qualifications to
foster cooperative ventures across campus and promote interdisciplinary
research initiatives. The successful candidate will also be expected to play
a leading role in hiring new junior faculty in various areas of
statistics and its applications.  Candidates should submit a CV, statement of
Research and Teaching interests and have three letters of recommendation sent.
