We have two senior research associate positions located in Wilmington,
Delaware.
The candidates will join the Genetic Discovery Group at Dupont Pioneer
Crop Genetics to facilitate fine mapping and Map-Based Cloning projects
for the discovery of important genes in maize.
Skills Required:
* Master's degrees in genetics/molecular biology or equivalent
experience (no PhD please)
* Familiarization with Quantitative Genetics and/or breeding
techniques
* Excellent technique in molecular genetics including DNA/RNA
extraction, cloning, ligation, RT-PCR, DNA/RNA blot analysis
* Very good experience in DNA sequence analysis and knowledge in
gene finding/annotation using genome viewers
* Ability to manage and keep large data sets in Excel
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work in a team
