The new DOE Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center (GLBRC) has one
opening for postdoctoral research in a collaborative project on the
identification and characterization of Arabidopsis genes and proteins
involved in secondary cell wall biosynthesis and deposition. The
position is immediately available and is located at the University of
Wisconsin-Madison.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. and a strong record of publication in
peer-reviewed journals. They should have experience with
bioinformatics, molecular genetics, and plant cell imaging
(microscopy), and should be willing to collaborate with 3 other
postdoctoral fellows working on distinct aspects of the same initiative.
