[Maize] "Plants for the Future" Symposium at the University of Missouri

The University of Missouri Interdisciplinary Plant Group holds an annual
symposium on a range of topics.  The 2011 symposium is titled "Plants for
the Future."  Please pass this information to anyone interested in
attending.

 

The 2011 Symposium on Plants for the Future will bring together 20-25
researchers from around the world to discuss the potential applications of
plant biology research in the areas of food, feed, fiber, and
pharmaceuticals. Mark Plotkin, Ph.D., president of the Amazon Conservation
Team and Christopher Herndon, M.D., will give the keynote address. The
symposium will be held at the Christopher S. Bond Life Sciences Center on
the Columbia campus of the University of Missouri from the evening of May 24
