A new book on maize is available, covering the questionable subject
of tropical maize cultivation in the temperates. It is a respectable
rundown of this history and science. This does include the old Iowa
contests; the book is directed to the superlatives of the
phenomenon. It grants important new information (or at least, new
slants) on the many interesting topics that are intuitively involved
with this subject. One catch may be that it was written by someone
who is quite right-brained. More info: tcornbk from ymail.com."
Thanks, Jason
