Hello Everyone,
If you are a researcher from USA and are interested in genome
annotations, here's an excellent opportunity. For those of you who are
USA residents and researchers apply for the travel awards to attend Gene
Annotation Workshop
(http://www.aspb.org/pb-2010/specialevents.cfm#databases) to be held at
the ASPB's Plant Biology 2010 meeting (http://www.aspb.org/pb-2010/). If
selected, the travel award will cover the cost of your Plant Biology
2010 meeting registration cost. We expect to award 10-20 participants.

Who can apply:
# Any scientist/researcher/student working and/or studying in
the USA only with an interest in Plant Biology and is
expected to attend the Plan Biology meeting in Montreal.
# Preference will be given to those representing the women,
minority and underrepresented groups.
# Preference will be given to those from the qualifying
under-represented minorities at accredited 4 year
universities and faculty at qualified US
minority-serving institutions.
# Preference will be given to young US scientists including
graduate students, postdoctoral scholars and young faculty.
