A post-doctoral research associate position is available immediately in the Soybean Genomics & Biotechnology Laboratory at the University of Missouri. The primary responsibility of this position will be analysis of whole genome sequence and structural variation, genotyping by sequencing, and comparative legume genome diversity. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in genetics, bioinformatics, or a related discipline with an excellent knowledge of bioinformatics, computational, and statistical methods. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative research environment are essential. The initial appointment will be for one year and the re-appointment (multiple years) will depend upon successful performance.
