FASEB: Mechanisms in Plant Development,
August 11th-16th, 2013,
Saxtons River, Vermont, USA.
Deadline for early registration: July 3rd
Dear Colleagues,
The 2013 FASEB: MECHANISMS IN PLANT DEVELOPMENT conference is an important and unique scientific meeting where the intersections of plant development, signaling, modeling and genomics are explored through talks, poster sessions, and intensive scientific discussion. The meeting includes outstanding researchers from around the world, presenting cutting edge research directed towards a fundamental understanding of how different aspects of plant growth and development are controlled in response to intrinsic and external signals, and how such mechanisms are modified over evolutionary time.
This conference has been held every 2-3 years for the past twenty-five years, and is the only regular international meeting devoted entirely to plant developmental biology. Its small size and secluded location make it a fantastic opportunity for discussion of new ideas and emerging concepts in this exciting and rapidly moving field.
Confirmed speakers include: Jose Alonso, David Braun, Tzyy-Jen Chiou, Vincent Colot, George Coupland, José Dinneny, Liam Dolan, Yuval Eshed, Kim Gallagher, Beverley Glover, Olivier Hamant, Stacey Harmer, Marcus Heisler, Yrjö Helariutta, Vivian Irish, Claudia Kohler, Junko Kyozuka, Zach Lippman, Jeff Long, Paula McSteen, Elliot Meyerowitz, Utpal Nath, Jennifer Nemhauser, Remko Offringa, Giles Oldroyd, Catherine Rameau, Adreinne Roeder, Leslie Sieburth, Rüediger Simon, Laurie Smith, Klaus Theres, Philip Wigge.
Additional speakers will be chosen from the abstracts.
We hope to see you this summer in Vermont!
