I'm just starting a job at Purdue University and I'm looking for a postdoc, as soon as possible. The qualifications are looking for are as follows:
Applicants must have received their Ph.D. received within the last five years. Training in standard molecular biology protocols is essential. An appreciation of the power and utility of classical genetics is important, as well as a willingness to perform maize field genetics. Experience with bisulfite sequencing and chromatin-immunoprecipitation, high throughput sequencing and analysis are preferred as well. Must be flexible, have collaborative style yet able to work with minimal supervision. The applicant is expected to have a strong work ethic, proven organizational and communication skills with keen observational and critical thinking abilities. The position is available immediately.
