Colorado State University's Department of Soil and Crop Sciences seeks a tenure-track, 9-month, Assistant/Associate Professor in the field of Crop Functional Genomics. The successful candidate will demonstrate capacity to integrate modern whole-genome approaches and techniques to further gene discovery and characterization for agronomic, pest resistance, and crop utilization objectives. The intended focus is in wheat, although other opportunity areas/crops exist.
Required qualifications: PhD or equivalent by hire date; degree emphasis in a relevant field such as plant breeding, plant genetics, genomics, or biotechnology; experience conducting field and/or lab-based studies that incorporate functional genomics approaches relevant to agronomic or horticultural crops.
