Dear Colleagues,
We would like to encourage you and your lab members to attend the Mechanisms in Plant Development meeting August 2-7 th , 2015 in Vermont, USA. The spirit of the meeting is that understanding fundamental biology is the surest way to advance practical gains in agriculture. In addition, plant biology has pioneered new insights into many fields over the last century, including genetics, developmental biology, epigenetics and genomics. The interactions between established scientists and young investigators entering in this field are facilitated by special sessions that maximize interactions between the two groups. Its small size and secluded location make it a fantastic opportunity for discussion of new ideas and emerging concepts in the exciting and rapidly moving field of plant development.
We have a truly stellar group of invited speakers, as well as many opportunities to be chosen to give a talk based on your submitted abstract. Last meeting (2013) was the largest meeting in this conference’s 25 year history and we hope to carry the excitement generated by that meeting into this one. Early registration deadline is June 21 st and the final deadline is July 5 th . A website dedicated to this conference is at http://www.faseb.org/SRC-Plant/Home.aspx
Sincerely, your 2015 co-organizers
Dominique Bergmann ( dbergmann from stanford.edu ) and Rüdiger Simon ( ruediger.simon from hhu.de )
