In addition to the schedule and program for the 59th Annual Maize Genetics Conference, there are six other pre-meeting workshops being offered. These free workshops are on the Thursday afternoon (March 9) prior to the Maize Meeting. The current schedule for workshops is:

3:30 PM – 4:30 PM “Workshop for high school students”
3:30 PM – 4:30 PM “Career Opportunities”
4:30 PM – 6:00 PM “Maize Tools & Resources”
4:30 PM – 6:00 PM “Losing the Fear of the Command Line” – Part II
