Check out Pat Walters' BABEL, available from
ftp://joplin.biosci.arizona.edu/pub/Babel/
This is a c program (not a script, but you did not mention your OS
requirements anyway) that converts between lots of common input and
output formats used by crystallographic or modeling programs.
