Both Molscript and Raster3d compile extremely easily via a f2c port and
then VC++4/VC++5 compilation making sure to link to the f2c libraries,
math library, and TIFF lib if you want to output graphics files in tiff
format from render. I haven't thoroughly tested it but in my usage I
haven't had any problems with using either Molscript or Raster3d
and have produced some beautiful tif images on my win95 box with
these progs. Anyone who is unable to compile these themselves are welcomes
to contact me, though, as per Perl Kraulis's post in the
bionet software newsgroup, he is happy for someone to use a binary port
of molscript as long as they have signed the license agreement for
Molscript.
