The Theoretical Biophysics Group at the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign is seeking
qualified candidates to fill a full-time Network Analyst position to
be funded by a grant from
the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
The group develops tools to employ high performance parallel
computers for research in structural
biology. The group carries out molecular dynamics (MD) simulations
of large assemblies of
biomolecules (lipid bilayers, protein-membrane, protein-protein and
protein-DNA aggregates) and
develops efficient software for parallel computers (workstation
clusters and other machines),
for interactive 3D molecular graphics using VR style devices and for
interactive modelling
coupling molecular graphics to a molecular dynamics program.
Application information: the proposed starting date is July 15. To
receive full consideration
applications must be received by June 30. To apply please send resume
