Dear Bionetters:
Does anyone out there have a good protocol for the isolation of the hair
follicle mite Demodex folliculorum? I am teaching an undergraduate
parasitology class this fall and would like to show some of the beasties if
the isolation of them is not too problematical. Also do any of you have a
rough idea of what percent of the population harbors these wee beasties?
