Wasp larvae parasite of squirrels?

A colleague of mine thinks that he's heard of a wasp which lays larvae on
squirrels, which consequently live off the flesh of the squirrel until
ready to metamorph. I've been unable to find any reference to this in my
text books, and wondered if any one had heard of it, just out of curiosity.

Thanks a lot for sharing any insights you have!
