If you haven't responded concerning your holdings of frozen parasite
tissues, please consider doing so now!
The American Society of Parasitologists is conducting a worldwide
survey of parasite frozen tissue/germplasm collections. The ASP
committee on Parasite Genetic Resources (Dan Brooks - Chair, Ralph
Lichtenfels, Steve Nadler, Tom Nerad, and Wes Shoop) believes that this
survey is an important first step for establishing a published registry for
parasite frozen tissue/germplasm collections. The findings of this survey
will be presented at a future ASP meeting. Please note that responding
laboratories have the option of keeping their responses (and contents of
their collections) confidential.
The survey form is filled out and sent electronically. It can be found at:
