Need advice

Dear all: My students and I will be collecting many species of pocket
gophers in the near future, and although we routinely collect all
ectoparasites and some endoparasites from the gophers, we need to
brush-up on the most modern methods for collecting more broadly among the
endoparasites (cestodes, nematodes, trematodes, coccidea, etc...), while
retaining their usefulness for DNA studies. Our collaborator, Steve
Nadler, suggested the 1982 book "The Collection and Preservation of
Animal Parasites" (compiled by Pritchard and Kruse).

I would appreciate other suggestions for "required reading" for
mammalogists interested in learning the best methods for collecting
parasites to be used in molecular and morphological studies.

Thank you, in advance, for your help.
