Cyclospora does resemble Cryptosporidium. Both are spherical, acid-fast, and
have similar morphologies. Cyclospora is twice the size of Cryptosporidium
(8 micrometers vs. 4). Cyclospora is auto-fluorescent while Cryptosporidium
is not.
