I'm interested in measuring levels of Toxoplasma Gondii infection in
birds. Is there any reliable measure of intensity which doesn't
involve killing the birds:this is for a behavioural study. I know that
antibody titres can be used, but how accurate is this? Doesn't it just
show how well the bird responds to infection? If anyone can help, a
swift answer would be appreciated.
