I am interested in anthelmintics that use uncoupling of oxidation of
phosphorylation as there mode of action. I have found information stating
that Benzimidazoles and salicyclanilides have uncoupling activity and are
used as anthelmintics. There are ttwo other groups i am trying to find
papers on that show evidence that they might have uncoupling activity,
these are the imidazoles and the avermectins. Does anyone know of any
papers with this info ? Also, is there , to anyones knowlege, a list of
known uncouplers published anywhere ?
Send me mail at ijeg500 at indyvax.iupui.edu or post ehre
thanks
