INVERTEBRATE ECOLOGIST, The Department of Biology at
THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO is seeking applicants who
do research in any area of INVERTEBRATE ECOLOGY for a
full-time, tenure-track position as ASSISTANT PROFESSOR,
to begin August 19, 1996. Minimum requirement:
Ph.D. in related field. Preferred characteristics:
Post-doctoral experience; an innovative and conceptually-
based research program as reflected in publications and
other scholarly activities; and a commitment to excellent
teaching at the beginning undergraduate through graduate
levels. The successful applicant will be expected to
establish an extramurally-funded research program, and to
participate in departmental service activities. Send a
