Does anyone out there know of any study abroad opportunities (hopefully in an english
speaking country - or a spanish speaking country) in the field of parasitology,
epidemiology, or even biology (general)? I'll be graduating with my M.S. this coming
May and hope to travel for the summer after that, and would love to spend part or all of
my summer in this manner.
Alternativly, I am wondering if someone may be doing some field work abroad for a period
of weeks to months, and am wondering if they would like another person to go out and
assist with collection, etc, but perhaps can't afford to pay an "assistant." If that is
the case, I would be able to fund myself for a while (including travel and room and
board, of course) while doimng such a thing.
I guess the bottom line is, I'm getting the travle bug pretty bad after being on a short
leash here with my thesis project for a while, and am hoping to get out and play- and
was thinking "hey, I haven't ever done a study abroad- what the heck!"
If anyone has any information, please, get back to me.
