Please help. . .
It's been six weeks and we have been 'round and 'round with pest
control, doctors and scrupulous cleaning of our house. We were told
that we had bird mites and have treated for that [three times.]
We--myself, my wife and our two-year old--are still are getting bites.
So do we have bird mites are something else?
We have found white, sticky, webbing with black dots and occasionally
twisting, rust-colored masses [all very tiny] on our clothes, in our
bedding, in our car, on the diaper changing table, on toys. . . . It
appears as if from nowhere, on things that we are certain have been
recently scoured. Also we've found hard, opaque, "mucousy" objects [not
disimilar to boogers] all around the house--even emeshed in the
clothing that has come out of the laundry.
My wife has noted oozing from her eyebrows; found a scab and a mucousy
thing underneath the hair of her eyebrow. She found tiny holes there,
also. The holes are painful, as if something has sucked blood. She has
found tiny, yellowish, round, scabby looking things biting her.
The only thing that has been identified to us are the bird mites. These
other things that permeate our house do not seem to be mites, but could
the be mite material? Or do we have another problem?
If any of this seems to ring the dimmest bell, please write. I'd be
happy to give you more info. We are very, very tired of this situation.
Thanks.
