seasonal trends, vector transmission and economical impact is expected. This
session will conclude with a synthesis on the epidemiological situations of
animal trypanosomiasis in the New World.

2) Antigen detection tests
3) Antibody detection tests

Papers should briefly present the techniques, with emphasis on:

- technical interest ans limits
- cost
- sensitivity and specificity (genus and species specificity must be clearly
  differentiated)
- parasite species and host species for which they are adapted

DAY 3: CONTROL AND ROUND TABLE

1) Parasite control
Problems with resistance, techniques of investigation in vitro/in vivo
Problems of multiple species treatments (T. vivax and T. evansi)
