Postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Dan S. Ray in
the Molecular Biology Institute at UCLA for studies of the structure and
replication of kinetoplast DNA. Current research areas of investigation
include the role of H1 histone-like proteins in the condensation and
organization of kinetoplast DNA and the protein composition and structure
of kinetoplast-associated replisomes. Strong biochemistry background and
publications in major journals required. Experience in protein
purification and characterization necessary. For further information on
