Foundations in Parasitology (Roberts and Janovy) is a good well
rounded text that has a balanced treatment of all aspects of parasitism.
Parasitology in Focus (Melhorn (editor), Springer-Verlag) offers fairly
good coverage of the molecular/immunological/biochemical aspects of
parasitism. That text assumes familiarity with the basic concepts covered
in Foundations. Good luck.
