Thanks for suggesting moderation of the newsgroup
Bionet.Parasitology, I fully agree. It usually adds value and
keeps the discussion focused, but it also needs a committed team
of moderators. A good example of a moderated list is ProMED. One
of the most cost-benefitial lists around if you are interested in
infectious diseases and epidemiology.
I also have one complaint: Please do not send example "images" in
MIME format to a mail engine that forwards the bulk in a plain
vanilla Internet Mail format. Who wants 30 pages of hexadecimal
nonsense code in his fee per minute mailbox???
Not all of us has fixed rate Internet access, and for anyone who
gets a bill, memos like the one you sent is a real pain....
Sorry that your good intention turned out to create still another
type of frustration, but that's life!
