Manter published a review on the subject of Zoogeography in Marine
fishes where he gives a synopsis of the work of Metcalf, von Ihring,
Johnston, and others on the subject of plate tectonics and parasites.
The citations for this paper is as follows:
Manter, H. W. 1955. The Zoogeography of trematodes of marine fishes.
Experimental Parasitology 4: 62-86.
Manter may have also mentioned this in his presidential address to the
ASP....but I don't have a copy of it.
