Parasitologists,
Please describe some methods in which parasites can disable or evade the
immune systems of their hosts. I'm interested in how this can be applied in
nano-technology and neural interfaces. One problem experienced in this field
is immune system resistance; e.g. allergic reactions, irritation, etc. This
can inflict damage both upon the technology as well as the user. Is there a
technique that can be developed that would not harm or inhibit the body
while allowing the technology to continue uninhibited? Thanks,
