Lakehead University Bookstore has for sale two videotapes on
parasitic diseases of wild animals. One is "Parelaphostrongylosis,"
which details meningeal worm (Parelaphostrongylus tenuis) infections
in white-tailed deer (so-called normal host) and in abnormal hosts
such as moose and llamas. The second videotape, entitled "CSE in
Caribou or Cerebrospinal Elaphostrongylosis" describes a die-off of
caribou due to infection by Elaphostrongylus rangiferi. Each tape is
approximately 22 minutes long. The tapes retail for about $25/each.
