Hello. I am the equine outreach specialist for the Montgomery (Maryland)
Soil Conservation District. Many horse owners are resistant to spreading
manure, even composted, on their pastures, because they are fear
infecting their horses with parasites. (Most horse owners in this area
regularly deworm their horses.) I am trying to find the latest research
on the parasitic implications of spreading manure or compost on
pastures. If anyone knows of such research, or of a specialist I can
