I have a small goldfish pond in my backyard. Yesterday, as I lifted a plastic container
out of my pond (it
had originally held a plant, which had floated out of it)I noticed a brown cord woven
through part of the
container. It was about 7 inches long, and almost as thick as a kite string (but not
quite that thick).
At first I thought it was a cord I had used to tie the plant to the container, but it started
moving. What kind
of worm could this be? Is it some sort of parasite? Is there anywhere on the web that
has pictures to help
me identify this creature?
