Is there a better fixative than Gilson's for trematodes?

James,
The easiest way to fix your trematodes is in 4% formalin (if possible hot,
although this is not a major concern given the size of your
metacercariae). Then transfer and keep in ethanol. This is of course not 
valid if you want to use them for molecular work aftewrwards, in this case
just save a few of them  directly in alcohol.
