Trypanosomiasis and Leishmaniasis Seminars
and
3rd COST-B9 Meeting on Anti-Protozoal Chemotherapy
Bruges, Belgium, 28 - 31 May, 2000.

This meeting will take place in the medieval St Jan's Hospital in
Bruges,
Belgium, from Sunday 28 to Wednesday 31 May, 2000.
Scientific programme
The COST B9 meetings on Anti-Protozoal Chemotherapy as well as the
Trypanosomiasis and Leishmaniasis Seminars are both meetings with a
tradition. In the year 2000 they will be combined into a single
scientific
event. This meeting will deal with the following topics : drug-target
identification, development of new drugs, drug screening, chemotherapy,
resistance against existing drugs, epidemiology and vaccine development.
These topics should not only be related to human and cattle trypanosomes
and Leishmania. Contributions dealing with other protozoan parasites
such
as the apicomplexans, trichomonads, amoeba etc. will be most welcome.
