Dear Colleague --
The 2001 Molecular Parasitology Meeting will be held September 12-16 at the
Marine Biological Laboratories in Woods Hole, MA (USA).
This meeting covers all aspects of parasite molecular biology, cell
biology, biochemistry, genetics and genomics, focusing on protozoan
parasites (although helminthologists are also welcome). Presentations by
graduate students and post-docs are strongly encouraged.
Web site for on-line registration (via secure web server), abstract
submission, and further information: <http://mpm.mbl.edu>.
Abstract and registration deadline: June 15, 2001. Please note that early
registration is advised as this meeting is usually oversubscribed.
Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
Significant changes introduced this year include:
- a new web interface, which will (hopefully) make registration and
abstract submission easier, as well as facilitating meeting organization
and program development.
- ability to revise your abstract up until the registration deadline.
- availability of (limited) funds to facilitate participation by
disease-endemic country scientists who would not otherwise be able to
attend the meeting.
We look forward to seeing you at the meeting!
