I am editing a story about guinea worm disease for an upcoming issue of
National Geographic, and I'm interested in including a brief mention of
groups involved in preserving parasites that are actively being eradicated
or that are dying out with the endangered animal species they depend on
for sustenance.
Could you send me some more information about this sort of endeavor? I
stumbled on your website through a Google search that also turned up the
tongue-in-cheek-sounding Save the Guinea Worm Foundation. Any assistance
and direction you might provide would be very much appreciated.
