Hi netters,

I am a real novice to the photosynthesis field. Could anyone
recommend a modern, broad, accurate (but not too technical) discussion
about what is known about photosynthesis? In other words, are there
any good recent books or extensive review articles that provide good
starting points to what is known in the field (and also the outstanding
questions today)? I am studying electron transfer in the reaction
center but would like to learn the context for what I am studying.
I suppose a good textbook is a place to start; however, I would like
something with references to the literature also. Am I asking for
too much??

Thanks in advance (I will post a summary if anyone requests
it.)

Cheers,

Raymond
