I worked in this area several years ago, and there are, indeed, many
models that you may find
useful.  In fact, there are so many that I think the best route would
be a data-base enquiry
using ISI or somesuch.  Try photosynthe*, model*, and light, and
you'll get more than you probably
need.

in PHotosynthesis IV., Regulation
of Carbon Metabolism, Akoyunoglou Ed. (1981)

A whole seies of articles by Tenhunen et al. in Oecologia.  I have one
in 26:101 (1976).

Gross, Louis (1982) Photosynthetic dynamics..., Ecology 63:84.
