Yes, there are labs working on different aspects of biochemistry or
cell/molecular biology which employ Chl-deficient mutants. There are
also a number of defined (genetically, if not biochemically)
Chl-deficient mutants available from the standard suppliers of genetic
stocks. Do you have a specific question or line of inquiry?
