I am a Ph.D. student, looking for a job(lab. technician, research
assistant ...) in the fields of botany, cell biology or molecular biology
outside the United States.

I am seeking a job because my US visa expires by Sept. 1994, when I must
cease the Ph.D. program and leave the U.S..

My research of the past year has been PCR-RFLP mapping in Arabdopsis
thaliana and Brassica, with Thomas Mitchell-Olds. In addition I worked
with Charles Miller for 1 year in Paleobotany, and David Bilderback for 1
year in developmental plant biology.

My qualifications include:

GPA of 4.0/4.0 at University of Montana.

I have been awarded a Bertha Morton Scholarship for outstanding graduate
students at the University of Montana, for 1993. "It is a most impressive
achievement, for it places the winner among the top five percent of the
University's graduate students in academic performance, research and
creative activities."

My resume is enclosed. If you have any questions, please let me know.
Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Ping Li
