algae O2 productions in function of light

Hello All
I'm a yuong researcher on bio-chemistry.
I'm interested on the algae production of O2 in function of the light intensity
expecialy from a mathematical point of view.

I used the function:

P=a tanh(b I)+c
where P is the production, I the light intensity, a b the initial slopes,
and c the respiration.

I would like to know if you could suggest me some references for my work.
