Postdoctoral Position
Department of Plant Molecular Physiology
University of Hawaii-Manoa, Honolulu
A postdoctoral position is available now to study the molecular biology and
physiological function of violaxanthin de-epoxidase. This is a key enzyme
in the xanthophyll- dependent non-radiative energy dissipation of excess
energy to down-regulate PSII phochemical efficiency. A self-motivated
individual with a strong background in molecular biology and publication
record is sought. Knowledge and interest in photosynthesis is highly
desirable. A Ph.D. in plant physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology or
related discipline is required. For more information contact Dr. H.Y.
