Fellow Photosynthesizers-
I'm in the market for a PAM 2000 fluorimeter but would like to provide my
own palmtop computer to run this instrument, rather than purchasing the
rather expensive and limited machine provide by Walz. Not being much of a
follower of the palmtop market, I'd very much appreciate suggestions about
an appropriate computer. The premiums should be on size and battery life.
The use of flash card memory rather than a hard disk has been recommended
as a way to maximize battery life. Suggestions?
I am also concerned about reports of communication problems with the faster
computers currently available.
