POSTDOCTORAL POSITION AVAILABLE
A postoctoral position is available to study aspects of phostosynthesis
within leaves. We are interested in the interactions among leaf anatomy,
cellular and chloroplast metabolism, and light. The position will involve
measuring PAR inside leaves (in collaboration with Dr. Thomas C. Vogelmann);
measuring electron transport and O2 evolution in paradermal leaf sections;
quantification of various polypeptides including electron transport
components across leaves; and related activities. A person with experience
in photosynthesis, plant biochemistry, and/or molecular genetic techniques
