I am a physicist studying fundamental light interaction - I am
interested in locating (collaborating with) someone broadly
knowledgable re: the granal / stromal ultrastructural architecture of
the chloroplast organelle.
Question - has anyone ever observed deviation from the lamellar granal
/ stromal architecture of chlorplasts of the same specie grown at
various latitiudes? I might believe that it would become more
disorganized (?) chaotic, etc. at higher latitiudes.
